This Is What The Tema Divisional Police Had To Say About Stonebwoy’s Wife’s Attack

Ghpage.com reported in the early hours of yesterday that there was an assassination attempt on Stonebwoy by unknown people at his “Ashaiman To The World Concert” which came off last Saturday.

Ghpage.com further reported that when the assassins failed in their quest, they manage to cut the wife of the Dancehall artist at her back. She was rushed to the hospital for treatment while Stonebwoy mounted the stage to entertain his fans gathered there.

The Tema Divisional Police has commented on the supposed attack on Stonebwoy and his wife. Speaking to the media, the Public Relations Officer, ACP Joseph Benefo Darkwah stated there that there has not been an official complaint from the camp of the artist.

ACP Benefo Darkwah revealed that they are waiting for an official complaint to begin investigations into the act.

Speaking on allegations by the public that there was not much police protection at the event, ACP Joseph Benefo Darkwa revealed that that the allegation is false and that there was about 120 police personnel at the concert and besides some electical fault that got resolved, everything went on perfectly.

The attack was announced by Stonebwoy on his Facebook page early Sunday morning. From the post, the artist revealed he was the target of the attack, missing him, the wife got cut.

Ashaiman to the world saw many artists mounting the stage including Joyce Blessing, Kofi Kinaata, Becca, Patapaa, Lilwin, Teephlow and a surprised attendance by Shatta Wale.
