The general secretary on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party, Justin Kodua Frimpong has reacted to the arrest of media personality, Okatakyie Afrifa.
His comment was made via a post on his official Facebook page which Gh Page has chanced on.
Taking to his official Facebook page, Justin Kodua stated categorically that the arrest of the media personality was done by some NDC officials.
According to him, the act by the NDC, curtailing the rights of the media personality is a dangerous attack on democracy and freedom of speech.
He wrote, “The arrest of Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah, a journalist, by the NDC government, is a dangerous attack on Democracy and freedom of speech”.
He added that “Ghana must not descend into tyranny. He must be released now!”.
Meanwhile, Okatakyie Afrifa has been released by the National security, and following that, the national security has divulged why they got the media personality arrested.
