The Black Stars Post Match Press Conference Looked Like Police Parading Armed Robbers To The Media- Nana Aba Anamoah

Ghana’s Black Star hopes of reaching a fourth straight World Cup seems to fade away after being held at home to a 1-1 draw in Kumasi by Congo on Friday afternoon.

The away side took the lead in the 18th minute through Almeria forward Thievy Bifouma and Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey scored a late equalizer for the Black Stars in the 86th minute.

A much-needed press conference was organised by the technical team of the Black Stars to expressed optimism over Ghana’s chances of reaching the World Cup despite a draw to Congo.

However, GhOne Tv’s news anchor Nana Aba Anamoah paid little attention to all the plenty talks at the press conference but rather focused on the stage designs.

According to her, the setting at the press conference looks untidy, even lacked media backdrops and looked like police parading armed robbers to the media.

“The GFA should be serious and treat the head coach of the black stars with the needed respect.Just look at their press conference, it looked like the police parading armed robbers and presenting them to the media. No backdrops, look at how the mics were positioned.”Nana Aba Anamoah said as the host of her show on GhOne Tv, Cheers.

Coach Kwasi Appiah addressing the media moments after the crucial game, revealed that his team is doing everything possible to ensure that it wins all outstanding matches so as to secure a mathematically possible place in the World Cup.

“It’s very disappointing to drop points at this crucial stage of the qualifiers but in football you can never say never. The most important thing is to try and do the best you can,” he said.
