Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has sent a message to the government devoid of political sentiments following the recent strike by commercial bus drivers (trotro).

According to him, Ghanaians are actually suffering and the way many passengers are stranded at various stations following the strike is a true manifestation.

In a tweet, Sarkodie, who is believed to be aligned to the governing party sent out a clarion call by asking the government to make the country inhabitable for its citizens.

He stressed the fact that the economic situation in Ghana is getting worse by the day thus the concerns of the drivers which had necessitated the strike needs to be attended to in order to make it possible for passengers to move to and fro.

“The people are going through it !!! We always do !!! All we ask for is the right environment to hustle/ be productive”
