The opposition leader Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has just been voted into power as the 5th president-elect of Ghana’s 4th Republic.
The victory for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) comes 8 years after contesting the National Democratic Congress’s Late John Atta Mills, and the ruling president John Dramani Mahama.
Much expected,news of massive jubilation erupting in various parts of the country is currently in circulation as many Ghanaians celebrate a peaceful election and a victory for their chosen leader.Streets of the parties stronghold in Ashanti region, Kumasi were filled with jubilation and “soloku” as people danced their hearts off.
