Thomas Partey finally meets Cape Coast pitch invader

Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Teye Partey has finally met the pitch invader that disrupted the football match between Ghana and South Africa.

The pitch invader identified as Awal Sulemana was arrested and detained by the police but was later fined 2400 cedis by the Cape Coast Circuit Court.

Awal Sulemana was charged with two counts; resisting arrest and disturbing public peace.

Well, the Atletico Madrid midfielder finally met Awal Sulemana where he had an interaction with him.

Thomas Partey also gave out a signed Black Stars jersey to Awal Sulemama and an undisclosed amount of money.

After the pitch invader was arrested, he disclosed that his aim was to meet his idol Thomas Partey and finally he has achieved that goal.

Awal was arrested after he invaded the football pitch during the first stage of qualifiers ahead of the 2021 Africam Cup of Nations.

Awal who is a 400 meters runner and a nurse as well made it very tough for the security personnel to arrest him in a video that went viral.
