Ghana’s Black Stars have been eliminated from the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON 2019) following their defeat by the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia

The Black Stars lost 5-4 on penalties after being held 1-1 draw by the Tunisians after extra time in the last 1/16 round game played in Ismailia.

The defeat led to many criticisms for Black Stars squad with many blaming the players for performing poorly and their coach for his bad gaming strategy.

Of all the players, one person that has been exempted from the criticisms has been Deportivo Alaves star, Mubarak Wakaso.

The midfielder who was named the man of the match for the Tunisia game has received massive praise for his commitment and dedication throughout the tournament.
