Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah known by his stage name Tic Tac has revealed in a recent interview that Shatta Wale was one of the reasons why he won a recent court case involving Melcom Limited.
He believes that Shatta Wale’s curse rather turned into a blessing in disguise. He said,“If you say God should punish me, I’m a child of God and, yes, he has punished me with GHS 300,000 overnight. He said that I think a day after, I got the judgment.”
He also disclosed that the self-acclaimed dancehall king is nowhere near his level despite always bragging about his success and that he should come and see him for some lessons. He also added that Shatta Wale should change his ways as he shows a lot of disrespect.
It will be recalled that Tic Tac sued Melcom Limited demanding a huge sum of GHS 300,000 in damages for breach of contract.
After months of the matter been in court, the Accra High Court has ordered Melcom Limited to pay Tic Tac an amount of GHS 300,000 as it was illegal for the company to continuously use the image of the musician when there was no contract.
