Tiktoker Bawumia Ba granted bail: Here is everything you need to know

Ghanaian TikToker who goes by the name Mahama Aminat, but is widely known as Bawumia Ba, has been granted bail, GH Page can authoritatively confirm.

Per the reports available at the news desk of Gh Page, Bawumia Ba appeared before the Accra Circuit Court earlier today, May 22, 2026, for a court hearing on her case.

Following the court hearing, Bawumia Ba was granted bail of GHยข1 million with two sureties, one of whom must be a civil servant earning not less than GHยข5,000 monthly.

She is also expected to leave either her passport or Ghana Card at the police station as the investigation of her case continues.

Thus comes after Mahama Aminat, in a viral self-recorded video denigrated President Mahama and his wife, insisting that the first gentleman of Ghana be killed as soon as possible.

Bawumia Ba noted in her viral video that, being the president, John Mahama has refused to make the betterment of the everyday citizen a priority, hence, the need to put him on his toes.
