South Africa – A police Captain was tragically killed in Springs business robbery incident – Following an exchange of gunfire between the armed robbers and the police officers who arrived at the scene to stop the robbery.
As confirmed, Captain Du Toit, was shot and killed during the robbery attack
According to sources, four armed suspects stormed the shop and forced the occupants to the back before opening fire.

Du Toit confronted the assailants, leading to a shootout where both he and one suspect were shot.
The suspects fled in a Volkswagen Polo, carrying their wounded accomplice.
Du Toit later succumbed to his injuries at Parkland Private Hospital.
