Kenya – There’s currently an ongoing riot in Nairobi following the tragic passing of a 17-year-old boy who was returning from the mosque after prayers.
The riot followed after angry residents in the Majengo and Pumwani area, in Nairobi, staged the protest after the fatal shooting of Ibrahim Rahmadan.
As reported, the form three student was shot dead during a police operation in the area on Tuesday, March 4.
He later succumbed to the gun shot while at receiving treatment at the Kenyatta hospital.

The angry residents have since damaged and attacked police cars, and others have also blocked major roads in the area, demanding action on those behind the shooting.
In a video shared by City Digest on X formerly Twitter, the protesters also set ablaze two police cars and houses believed to belong to the National Police Service as activities along the Gikomba area were paralysed.
Angry youths also set on fire the area chief’s office, the Majengo Police Post, and several private cars.
