A piece of sad news from Zebilla confirms the tragic death of two soldiers.
As reported, the two Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) personnel along with other colleagues who were occupying a light armoured vehicle were involved in a fatal accident near Saka, close to Zebilla, in the Upper East Region.
The incident, which occurred around 3 p.m., claimed the lives of two soldiers instantly and left four others with various degrees of injury.

According to reports, the military vehicle was moving at top speed from Bawku when one of its rear tyres suddenly detached and caused the driver to lose control.
The vehicle subsequently somersaulted, leading to the tragic deaths.
The injured soldiers were swiftly transported to the Zebilla District Hospital for medical attention following a rapid response from personnel of the Zebilla Police Command.
