News of celebrated Ghanaian actor Majid Michel been rushed to a foreign hospital for surgery went viral some weeks ago.
Ghpage.com today as well shared a video the actor speaking perfectly well in what was believed to have been recorded after a successful surgery.
But close friends of the actor have revealed that the one-time bad boy actor never underwent any surgery and has never been diagnosed with throat cancer as the public has been made to believe.

Movie director and actor Pascal Amanfo who is very close to Majid in an Instagram post explained that the picture that went viral of Majid allegedly been rushed to a hospital outside the country was actually taken in a plane and not a hospital.
He shared: @ghkwaku Kwaku can you also tell them that there was no surgery…no such diagnosis and that, that picture was taken from an AirFrance flight and not in a hospital?”
Pascal Amanfo’s comment now put the issue of Majid Michel having throat cancer to rest as earlier reports suggested that diagnosed with throat cancer by doctors at the 37 Military Hospital, and Korle-Bu.
The report went on to state that Majid started experiencing difficulties with his speech because of that throat problem.
He was also reported to have said that he found it really challenging to speak clearly to others on phone.
