TV3 apologizes to Awal Mohammed

Awal Mohammed, who was the 2nd Runner Up in the maiden Edition of Talented Kids, got furious with the organizers of the just ended show. The reason being that, he was made to perform off- air, that’s 15 minutes before the show was telecast live on TV3.

To be specific, Awal Mohammed was told to come on stage at around 3:20pm whiles the show was telecasted at 4:00pm. And for what reason he was made to perform at that time is still unclear. Very disrespectful to the young artist if you ask me.

To settle matters, the talented kid’s reality show manager named Prince was called on Accra based radio Station Accra fm, he also wasn’t reasonable but only had to apologize for their goof.

Awal got furious at the backstage to the extent that, Samini and Kofi Kinaata who were also billed to perform had to come in to console and give some words of encouragement to the artist tagged as ” Sarkodie’s successor”.

Awal apologized to his fans who were dying to see him on TV that day, shared their pain, frustration and had to release this song for them as a form of appreciation and to explain all that happened.

Awal Mohammed, tagged as King Sark’s successor became a household name when as a 12-year old and a JHS1 pupil of the Accra New Town Experimental School became the second runner-up in TV3’s maiden edition of talented kids.
