Information reaching GhPage.com newsdesk has it that two police officers have become the latest people to test positive to the deadly COVID-19.
According to the source, the two policemen are currently on admission and receiving treatment.
It went on to claim that one of the policemen who contracted the disease was on escort duties to the Upper East Region and he contracted the virus when he got exposed to a patient.

The second policeman, on the other hand, contracted the virus when he was returning to his duty post in the same region after some holidays.
It was also revealed by the source that these two policemen were identified through contact tracing and when they tested positive, they showed mild signs and symptoms.
This comes after reports broke out that the IGP has ordered that about 10,000 police personnel who took part in the lockdown enforcement should be tested.
