Two brothers have mercilessly been beaten by an angry mob in Adewukwa near Awutu Bawjiase.
As confirmed, the two brothers are currently in critical condition at the Bawjiase Polyclinic under police guard.
The mob attack followed after the brothers identified as Fofo Agboyemeh, a mason, and Kwame Agboyemeh, a carpenter, were apprehended with the exhumed body of a 10-year-old boy on a motorcycle.
According to reports, the body had been buried just three days ago at the community’s cemetery.

During police interrogation, the suspects admitted their intention to use the exhumed body for ritual purposes.
Meanwhile, this marks the fourth time a body has gone missing from the cemetery after burial.
The brothers’ actions have been linked to “sakawa,” a term used in Ghana to describe ritualistic activities often associated with internet fraud and black magic.
