Two times Stonebwoy & Shatta Wale shared a stage together; What changed during VGMAs?

It is a known fact that the best two Ghanaian dancehall artistes, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale are ‘rivals’ in the music game.

They have been on each other’s neck for some years now, sending subtle jabs, attacking personalities and recording diss songs directed to each other.

However, this is not the first time the Shatta Movement Boss has stormed the stage after Stonebwoy received an award.

In 2015, at the 4Syte Music Awards, Shatta went on stage with his entourage to congratulate Stonebwoy after he won an award.

In the video, Shatta Wale surprised Stonebwoy by mounting on stage when he was delivering his acceptance speech and gave him a hug.

Also, at the 2017 edition of the Ashaiman To The World Concert organised by Stonebwoy held at the Sakasaka park, Shatta Wale surprised the Bhimnation boss on stage.

At the latter part of Stonebwoy’s performance, Shatta Wale mounted the stage, hugged him and performed most of his hit songs to the cheering crowd.

This moment was the talk of the town as Ghanaians believed this was the end of their rivalry.

After this historic moment, these two went back to sending indirect shades and attacking each other verbally.

Now, the recent news that has gained much attention is the scuffle that happened at the 2019 VGMA after Stonebwoy was crowned Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the year.

Shatta Wale stormed the stage with his team members while Stonebwoy was receiving his award.

Blakk Cedi, who is the manager of Stonebwoy tried to stop Shatta and his crew from mounting the stage which resulted in a scuffle that marred the show for almost 30 minutes.

Stonebwoy also pulled out a gun to the amazement of many.  Now, the question everyone is asking is; “What changed at the VGMAs?”,
