Pastor commits suicide as girlfriend gets engaged to another man

A Ugandan pastor based in the U.S has reportedly committed suicide in Massachusetts after engagement photographs of the girlfriend he left only a month ago in Uganda, went viral.

This unfortunate incident happened a month after he left his woman in Uganda. His remains were found at the state cemetery on Monday afternoon, July 30 the police in Watertown, a suburb of Boston City, the capital of Massachusetts State, are investigating a possible suicide.

The deceased, Abel Ayinza was an adopted son of Pastor Samuel Mutyaba of New Life Christian International Church in Watertown, Massachusetts. Ayinza’s late father reportedly founded the church that caters for the Ugandan community in 2004. His father also offered immigration and marriage counselling to Ugandans in Massachusetts.

He lost his mother on July 14, 2015, while his father passed away on March 24, 2016, and has been under the care of Pastor Mutyaba since the death of his father.

His girlfriend was identified only as Juliet is also a U.S citizen but left the country, recently, on grounds of checking on her family in Uganda, only to resurface in an engagement with another lover

“He was so depressed when the photographs went viral and it became quite difficult for him to bear,” Simple Nsereko, a Ugandan living in Boston, said.
