Under no condition should mobile phones be more important to you than a human life. If you that happens, then you perfectly fit the situation above. And that is exactly what this Ugandan man has done.
A Twitter user alerted his followers to the insensitivity and excuse me to say the foolishness of a man that has lead to the death of a hard working woman.

Apparently, the woman fell into a river trying to avoid being arrested by Kampala Capital Authority (KCCA) for hawking at a restricted area. And this man saw her fall into the river but refused to help her because he couldn’t get anyone to hold his phone that was in his pocket for him.
The twitter shared this photo and wrote:
“This man watched a woman drown. He said he could swim & he thought of jumping into the water to save her. But he had his phones in his pockets.”
“The woman who hawked handkerchiefs was being chased by the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) when she fell into the river”
“The man was at the scene of the incident and was interviewed by a TV crew. He told the press that he saw the woman drown, but had no one to give his phones to so that he could jump in to save her.”
If this man is not an idiot, I have no words to describe him…lol
