University student stabbed to death by boyfriend after she broke his heart

GhPage.com has received the sad news on the death of a Polytechnic student who was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend.

Dorcas Jamilla Ouma is a first-year student of Kisumu Polytechnic and it’s believed her boyfriend stabbed her multiple times for breaking his heart on Tuesday, 12th November 2019.

The boyfriend is a former Maseno University student and he was arrested the next day after the assault hiding in a bush.

Dorcas did not die immediately according to eyewitnesses. She was rushed to the hospital and she named her assailant before she passed.

According to the Kondele Police Station which apprehended the 27-year-old alleged killer, he has already fought with the late Dorcas just a day before the incident on social media and he accused her of breaking his heart.

He blamed not just the girl for their breakup but also the girl’s family for encouraging her to dump him.

In a series of post on his social media pages, the alleged killer wrote

“Be careful when you love that girl you see on my profile picture. She has killed me. Real love is not there and can never exist,” read an excerpt from the suspects’ Facebook post.

“I am the first man in her life but now I stink to her and her family who think I will waste their daughter because I am poor,” he shared online.
