A carpenter’s apprentice has popped up claiming to be the fiancé of the late Ebony Reigns who died in February this year. According to the man identified as Kofi Essel, Ebony was set to wed him before she died.
Explaining Kofi Essien in an interview said he didn’t know of Ebony Reigns or even heard her songs but the first time a friend introduced him to her, she fell in with him and always tried to be in his company always.

Kofi Essien claims Ebony even wrote her song “Kupe” in his presence. She later proposed marriage to him and they were set to marry before she lost her like in the gory accident on the Sunyani road.
Kofi Essel who says he is a carpenter’s apprentice explained that when Ebony proposed he took it as God trying to bless him through Ebony Reigns so he accepted the marriage proposal.

“…A friend of mine introduced me to Ebony when I met her I had not heard her song before so if not for my friend I wouldn’t have known her and I wouldn’t have recognized her if I met her at random,”
“She then told me that God has blessed me and when I asked her what she meant, she asked if I had dated before which I said no because I would be committing sin against my body then she went on to ask my name and asked if she could be my friend which I accepted then right there and then when she proposed to me..”, Kofi Essel added.
