We made an earlier report this morning that after 2 and half years, the trial of Wisa Greid born Eugene Ashie came to an end at the Accra Circuit Court today, 30th April 2018.
Back In 2015 during Citi Fm’s Decemba2Remember concert, Wisa Greid was dragged to court for exposing his manhood on stage during his performance.
Although the artiste confirmed in his first statement that he exposed his manhood, he later denied indicating that it was an artificial manhood he displayed.
The court presided over by Mrs Abena Oppong Adjin- Doku found the artist guilty of indecent exposure and slapped him with GHS8,400 fine. Failing to pay, the Ekikime hitmaker will spend 24 months in Jail.
After the court ruling, Mr Jerry Avenogbor, the lawyer for Wisa begged the court to grant his client one week to pay the fine because it won’t be easy to pay the fine today. On a bail of Gh¢10,000 with one surety to be justified, the court granted their request.
There’s good news as Head of Communications for ZYLOFON Cash and Zylofon Events Halifax Ansah has given embattled musician Wisa Greid GH¢10,000 in court to enable him to pay his fine in order to escape a custodial sentence.
