Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, with some few minutes to the start of the 2019 VGMA main show has stated that all the nominees including himself are winners but its time the other artistes start making money.
After apologizing to the organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, has vowed to sweep home all the awards in the categories that he has been nominated.
The artiste has campaigned through his various social media platforms and even when he performs at events.

In a post congratulating all his colleagues, he mentioned that since they have been able to be nominated, they are winners.
However, he advised that Ghanaian artistes work on making good money for themselves rather than focus on popularity because that does not put food on the table.
