For Artist Of The Year, entertainment pundits tipped the late Ebony Reigns to scoop it with ease looking at the back to back hits she released last year.
For song of the year, every tipped Swedru-based rapper and “One Corner” hitmaker Patapaa Amisty to win in that category looking at the waves he made in Ghana, Africa and the world with his song with regard to the “crazy dance” that accompanied it.
Swedru-based artiste Patapaa who lost out on all his VGMA nominations after not winning any awards this year has taken solace in God.
He wrote on his Twitter handle: “God’s time is the best. Everything happens for a reason. Heaven knows I tried my best.”
