How Sarkodie, Kwaw Kese, DKB And Other Celebs Reacted To Patapaa’s “Cheating” at VGMA 2018

One major controversy that has followed the just held 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is the winner of the Most Popular Song Of The Year Award. Fancy Gadam Featuring Sarkodie’s “Total Cheat” won it.

But Patapaa’s “One Corner” which went viral and even went global was the obvious winner but somehow, Fancy Gadam took home the award.

Explaining why, Charterhouse the organizer of the annual VGMA revealed that, the most popular song of the year is a ‘100 % vote category’ and Fancy Gadam got the majority vote.

Well, most Ghanaians have expressed outrage since the award was given to Fancy Gadam. Patapaa the obvious choice stormed out of the auditorium when he was swerved of the award that night.
