One moment during the live transmission of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards by TV3 that has gotten many people talking was when the live transmission was mysteriously cut off when Nana Aba Anamoah, the former TV3 presenter was on stage to present an award.
Nana Aba Anamoah was one of the main presenters at TV3 who helped raise TV3 to be what it is today. She was a formidable force when she was with TV3.
A few years ago, she was involved in a Twitter prank where she was accused of photoshopping herself into an image which wasn’t hers.
TV3 suspended her in an act which many deemed as a betrayal on their part considering how she had been a key figure at the station for years and the fact that it was just a prank.
After she was recalled from the suspension, she resigned and joined EIB Network’s GHONE TV. She has been a key figure in making the TV Station the best station in Ghana now. She is currently the chief editor of the TV station.
Fast forward yesterday, when she was presenting the best video award to Captain Planet, TV3 mysterious cut off the live transmission.
But according to an apology published on their social media handles, it was a technical fault and not intentional as many have accused them off.
Apologies for the loss in transmission. We had a technical issue that briefly affected the live feed of the #VGMA2018. The issue was rectified immediately. We got back, so you didn’t miss any of the winners. ?Keep following #VGMAonTV3 for all the exclusives!
