It’s been confirmed by the CEO of Charterhouse and the host for VGMA 2019, Kwame Sefa Kayi that the two outstanding awards which winners were not mentioned, Artist of the year and Most Popular Song of the year were won by Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
However, Ghpage.com has received reliable reports that Shatta Wale won the most popular song of the year with his hit Highlife song “My Level” and Stonebwoy was to be crowned the overall artist of the year for VGMA 2019.

Kessben FM morning show host, Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye has also confirmed that reliable source has confirmed to him that Stonebwoy indeed is the Artist of the year and Shatta Wale is the winner of the Most Popular Song of the year.

Before the Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy fracas which brought the event to a standstill for close to an hour, Shatta Wale had already won Highlife song of the year with “My Level” and Reggae Dancehall song of the year with “Gringo”.
Stonebwoy, on the other hand, won Reggae Dancehall Artist of the year and Best Collaboration with “Kpoo Keke”.

It was the Reggae Dancehall Artist of the year award he was going for that led to the fight between Shatta Wale fans and Bhim fans which motivated Stonebwoy to pull a gun on the VGMA stage
