Dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale has hit hard at the board members of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA).
For some weeks now, there have been several calls by the public and some industry persons to recall Shatta Wale and his colleague Stonebwoy back into the awards scheme saying the exclusion from the awards this year is likely to cause trouble for the organizers.
Though the CEO of Charter House Theresa Ayoade has revealed that the board to decide on their fate, she has also called on people to see the awards as something which is beyond Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.

We believe these comments from Madam Theresa have angered Shatta Wale who earlier today went on Facebook live to vex his anger at her and her board members.
He is heard saying: “The Board Members, all of you are poor people. What I possess, none of you has, I can pay all of you every month”.
He was not done!
“You don’t have anything. Most of them are disappointed musicians. You don’t know God.”
On Charterhouse, he was overly harsh too!
“You guys don’t think, You are fools.”
He compared the VGMA ban to an analysis of Hearts and Kotoko, as well as Shell Oil Company – stating that Hearts and Kotoko faced no ban, even after the May 9 disaster. Shell was also not banned from operating after the June 6 catastrophe.
