The 21 edition of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is scheduled to be held between 28th to 30th August 2020.
The reason why this year’s event is designed to run for three continuous day due to the social distancing protocols set aside by the government as a measure to fight the COVID-19.
Today’s edition is underway and some big names in the Ghanaian Music Industry have win big.
Big names like Kofi Kinaata, Okyeame Kwame, MOG And Cina soul have won big at the ongoing VGMA’20.
The Fante Rap God, Kofi Kinaata won the Songwriter of the Year. He came out victor from a tough category beating the likes of King Promise, Akwaboah, Lamisi, Diana Hamilton,Epixode.
MOG Music won the Male vocalist of the Year.
Cina Soul won Best video of the year for ‘Killing Me’ song beating Medikal, Becca, Kuami Eugene Epixode, Celestine Donkor E.L, Joe B, RJZ, Zeetm.
The ‘Rap Doctor’ Okyeame Kwame won the Record of the Year. The category had names like Trigmatic, Lord Paper, Perez Musik, Lamisi and Worlasi competing for the award.
