The present vice president of the Republic of Ghana, Her Excellency Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang is set to travel abroad for treatment.

The news was made known by a communique sighted by Gh Page and signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the spokesperson for the president and minister of government communication.
According to the communique, the vice president has been battling her health for some time now.
The communique adds that the vice president was sent to the University of Ghana Medical Center on Saturday following the sudden illness that occurred after work on Friday, March 28, however, the sickness was never mitigated but instead, escalated.
It is noted therefore that, plans are far advanced toward flying the vice president abroad for better treatment.
