Many are those who know ace highlife singer, Daasebre Gyamenah as “Ahoofe”, a name his fans gave him after the release of his hit song, “Ahuofe”, which literally means beautiful or the handsome one.
He thrilled Ghanaians with his love songs with his main hit being “Kookoko” which featured Lord Kenya. he passed away on July 29th, 2018. It was indeed a big blow for music enthusiasts.
There have been high hopes as new and upcoming artists are all venturing into following the steps of our dear Daasebre. Singing love songs and thrilling crowds with the real live band.

One of the artists I can talk about is “Angela” hitmaker Kuami Eugene who in recent times has been described as one of Ghana’s acts that will really push our highlife music to the world as it has in recent times lost a little recognition.
