Football lovers scattered around the globe are mourning the sudden demise of Ghanaian International Manuel “Junior” Agogo after battling stroke for some years now.

It would be remembered that Junior Agogo made waves during the African Cup of Nation in 2008 which was hosted in Ghana who were hoping for a host and win but ended up as finalists.

One thing that can be remembered about the late footballer was his goal against Nigeria in the quater final stage of the competition.

The game almost ended in a 1-1 draw, but Sulley Ali Muntari (11) found Junior Agogo in the box, who later converted the opportunity into a winning goal.
