A couple of months back, Afia Schwarzenegger and her husband made news when the nu-de video and photos of Afia circulated on social media.
Afia Schwarzenegger subsequently filed for divorce on the grounds that the Abrokwah always abused her physically. She has since launched a campaign #LeaveToLive to raise awareness about domestic abuse, violence against women and toxic relationships.

Comedienne, TV and Radio presenter Afia Schwarzenegger on her birthday and at the launch of her Non-Governmental Organisation Leave2Live Foundation, on February 14 made fresh allegations against ex-husband Mr Lawrence Abrokwa.
Afia who turned 35 on Valentine’s Day this year, said at the launch that her ex-husband, Abrokwa tried to burn her house on three occasions with gas.

She claimed that he constantly threatened to set ablaze the house she has hustled to buy with her hard-earned money. The controversial TV and radio presenter sharing her suffering as a domestic violence victim noted that she earlier thought things could change when her ex-husband started abusing her but things got worse as days went by.

She further advised her fellow women to walk away when they the abuse and suffering is unbearable because it will never change.
