Late dancehall diva, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng a.k.a. Ebony Reigns final funeral rite was held on Saturday, March 24th, 2018 at the forecourt of the State House.
Ebony Reigns was given a state burial to commemorate her undeniable contribution to the development of Ghanaian music.

Ghanaian celebrities and great personalities in the country were present in their numbers to pay their last respect to the young lady who is regarded as the most talented female singer Ghana has ever had in recent years.
The family received a lot of monetary support from individuals and organizations. Here is the breakdown of the monetary support received by the Family.
One of the peoples who donated a huge sum of money to the late Ebony’s family was President Nana Akufo Addo.

President Nana Addo donated GHC50,000.00 which got people gnashing their teeth over such huge donation. But father of the late Ebony Has cleared on the misconception of the whole GHC 50,000 saga claiming the amount was GHC5,000 and not GHC50,000.
