Music plays a role in our everyday life. Most Musicians are inspired by the everyday life experiences which motivates them compose their song/music.

Some sing about love, sad stories, event ,and some compose songs for a particular purpose. Those purposes can be for a theme song use during campaigning for a particular party.

However,When it comes to campaign songs which are composed for political parties in Ghana, some have come through the years and fans of those political parties tag theirs as the best of all times.

I remember the then “arise for Ghana” song Uncle Jewel Ackah sung for the NDC.I personally love that tune and regard it as the all time best music ever composed for any political party.

I  had several debates on this as most people also believe that , Daddy Lumba’s “Nana is a winner ” which he composed for the NPP and their presidential candidate prior to the 2008 election is also undoubtedly the best ever.

The debate kept on, until one Dee Aja released a song titled “Onaapo” for John Mahama and his NDC’s campaign team for the just ended elections.
