21-yr-old girl applies makeup each day for 4 years just to hide her skin condition

There is the belief that many people do makeup to look “more” beautiful but it will surprise you to know that some people do it to hide their skin conditions a case in point is Mariah Perkins, a 21-year-old lady from Timonium, Maryland, USA.

Mariah Perkins for over 4 years each day applied makeup on her whole body costing her over 100,000 dollars.

What many people didn’t know was that Mariah suffered from a skin condition called Vitiligo. With Vitiligo, white patches appear on the face and body of the victim.

According to Mariah Perkins, she started having this skin condition at the age of 13 just on his hand and with years it spread to her face and most parts of her body.

Fearing she will be shamed in public, she resulted to makeups to hide the skin condition and she kept going for 4 years until last years she said enough is enough and cleaned all the makeup and stepped out to show her real self.

According to Mariah Perkins who says she aims to be a professional dancer, she couldn’t believe the love and acceptance that followed her decision.

Mariah says she has experience intense joy since she took the decision to stepped out without makeup. It pays to be oneself right?
