According to what GHPAGE.com gathers, a house belonging to Ghana international Mubarak Wakaso may be demolished if a protracted land dispute is not resolved immediately.

Wakaso’s house is reported to be among many others which will likely be affected by the mass demolition exercise pending legal resolution.

The house located at the Mempeasem area of East Legon in Accra could be demolished as part of a threatening demolition exercise in the vicinity.

His house in question was opened somewhere in 2015 with the National Chief Imam, Osman Nuhu Sharabutu being among those present.

According to reports, one Samuel Darko is reportedly laying claim to the lands with concrete documents backing his claim. Darko claims to own the land in the mid-70s to date.

Darko cited the era when the land was released for the construction of the Accra Training College in 1974 before its subsequent return due to compensation discrepancies.

East Legon is the home to very rich tenants including politicians, top businessmen, professional footballers, among others. Wakaso who currently plays for Deportivo Alaves is one of the many superstars living in the area.

It is one of the most beautiful and affluent suburbs in Ghana.
