‘Way to go’-Akufo Addo applauds Kwesi Appiah & Asamoah Gyan for making peace

The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has commended the coach of the senior national team Kwesi Appiah and Asamoah Gyan for settling the dispute between them.

The President took to Twitter to express his excitement over Asamoah Gyan’s decision to make peace with Kwesi Appiah before the AFCON 2019.

The Ghanaian striker last week announced his retirement from the national team after the coach appointed Andre Dede Ayew as the new captain.

However, Nana Akufo Addo convinced the Kayserispor striker to rescind his decision which he obliged and held a meeting with Coach Kwesi Appiah to smoke the peace pipe.
