It has been 54 years of marriage in which Madam Kufuor got to be the first lady of Ghana between 2000 and 2008.
John Kofi Agyekum Kufuor is a Ghanaian politician who was President of Ghana from 7 January 2001 to 7 January 2009. He was also Chairperson of the African Union from 2007 to 2008.

However, Theresa Kufuor is the wife of John Kufuor, the 2nd President of the Fourth Republic of Ghana, and former First Lady of Ghana. She is a retired nurse and midwife.
