One of the casts in the video, a white actress known as Vicky Dempsey Burns, has thanked Shatta Wale for making her a star with her “Gringo” Video.

Vicky wrote on her Facebook page thus:
“You won’t believe this, but from being in the Shatta Wale video “Gringo,” which has over 900,000 views on YouTube, I have fans now! They made the sweetest comments.

She further disclosed that her colleague teacher also told her this:
