Popular Reggae-Dancehall artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr. known in the showbiz circle as Shatta Wale has disclosed that he will not return the VGMA plaques to Charterhouse.

The “Kakai” hitmaker in an interview explained that he and Stonebwoy have no intention of returning the plaques they won on that night to Charterhouse.

According to Shatta Wale, they both worked so hard for the awards they won, so did their fans and will never return it.

He added that Charterhouse should forget about the awards, adding that they deserve it and will do anything to defend it.

” I Never Had The Chance To Hold My Awards So I Don’t Think I Will Be Returning Something I Didn’t Hold. Moreover, I Don’t Know Where And Who Took The Awards.

Aside that, Stonebwoy Or I will never return the plaques because it’s something the Fans worked very hard for, and so both us, i.e. Stonebwoy and I have to defend it. Charterhouse should forget it, we are not returning anything”, Shatta Wale stated.

It can be recalled that after the fracas that happened between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy at the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, the organizers asked the musicians to return the awards as a way of sanctioning them.
