A woman takes her own life after she was paid 83$ equivalent to Ghc454.84 for acting an X-rated film in Nigeria. She took her life following stigmatization from members of the X-rated film society

The woman was shocked to see her video fast circulating on the internet after the director told her that he would remove some scenes that may expose her nudity and the worst of all gave her that small amount of money as her remuneration for acting.
By reports, the director of the X-film society when questioned by the police said he has no idea of the accusation that he gave her that meager amount.
He further stated she was suffering from depression and he thinks that might be the cause that lead to her committing suicide.

The police are investigating the issue and they promise to give the general public the latest in their findings on the story.
