A Kenyan woman named Damaris Wanjiku has sent social media into a frenzy after mocking her ex-husband, who took loans to finance their traditional wedding.
According to the divorced woman, her ex-husband paid for everything during their colourful traditional wedding, but their marriage lasted barely a year.

In a viral TikTok post, she added that she has since moved on after their divorce and is dating another man and also running a thriving business.
On the other hand, her husband is still struggling to repay the loans.

Damaris Wanjiku has since deleted her post after coming under severe criticism from social media users who came across her mockery towards her husband.
The most disappointed ones have called her an ungrateful lady. They have even suggested she was cheating on her husband while they were still married.
Others have also advised young men never to take loans to fund their weddings.
