Real Madrid’s star Cristiano Ronaldo extraordinary hat-trick denied Spain victory in a cast-iron World Cup classic. Ronaldo scored the first goal from a spot kick.
He gave Portugal a 1-0 lead off a PK. Nacho fouled him inside the box and Rocchi conceded the penalty.
In the 25th minute, Diego Costa created a brilliant goal to score the equalizer for Spain. It appeared that he had fouled Pepe but the VAR conceded the goal 1-1.
Then just before the halftime, De Gea made a terrible mistake. The goalie appeared to have a fairly weak shot from Ronaldo under control but the ball slipped away from his hands and hit the back of the net to make it 2-1.
Diego Costa in the 56th minute stepped up again, scored Spain’s second goal off a set piece.
Spain turned the game around in two minutes later. Nacho gave his team the lead off a goal from distance. The ball hit the post but ultimately found the back of the net. Brilliant!
And then the stunner came in the 88th minute. It’s a hat-trick for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese star scored a brilliant goal from a Free Kick and it ended 3-3.
