Fast-rising musician, King Promise has debunked rumours about him ‘dumping’ the Dubai-based businesswoman, Yasmin Behzadi after nurturing his music career and bringing him into the limelight.
Yasmin in an interview on Hitz Fm threatened to take legal actions against King Promise for neglecting her after spending $150,000 to help push his music globally.
The ‘Selfish’ hitmaker, through his management, in a statement disclosed that Yasmin gave up on him and called him a ‘waste product’ when her financial expectations were not met.
“Yasmin’s claims of spending $150,000 was due to her own unilateral decisions and luxurious lifestyle, even if indeed she has spent that much”, he revealed.
They further explained in the statement that, Killbeatz signed King Promise onto Legacy Life Entertainment Label and assisted him in making good music to entertain his fans.
Under this record label, King Promise has released songs like Double Trouble, Selfish, Oh Yeah, Hey Sexy, CCTV and the all-time favourite, “Abena”.
The statement also made known that Yasmin did not fund any of King Promise’s recent songs and that she intends to reap where she did not sow.
However, reacting to the allegations of being called ungrateful, King Promise revealed that she will always see Yasmin as his big sister and is very grateful to her for playing an instrumental role in building his music career.
