NPP’s communication specialist, Dennis Miracles Aboagye has taken a swipe at Ghanaians, NPP members to be precise who refused to vote for the NPP in the 2024 general elections for stupid reasons.
Miracles’ statement was made in an exclusive interview on Metro TV, monitored by Gh Page.
According to him, “If you didn’t vote in 2024, it means clearly you are bitter. There is something you have against the party”.
The politician went on to state that it makes no sense for staunch members of the NPP to refuse to vote because their candidates didn’t win in the NPP primaries, stating that “If your person doesn’t win and you decide not to vote, how is your party supposed to win elections? Is that how political organizations are run?”
He added that “Not everyone votes for the same person in primaries, but when a leader is chosen, people still campaign, canvass, and vote for the party”.
Mr. Aboagye believes that “No loyal and committed party person would abstain from voting, especially someone who has benefited so much from the party,” and that, “If you wanted the party to win power, you would not sit out an election”.
