A young man from Gomoa Ojobi, a farming community in the Central Region has met his untimely death after he was killed by his neighbor over a cat.
The deceased identified as Kenneth Arhin alias Kofi Sa age 36, went to the house of his neighbour who in this case is the suspect known as Kweku Anu at Gomoa Kweikrom and reported to him that his cat has been stealing his fishes.
But things took a turn leading to both men engaging in a physical fight with the deceased person picking up an iron rod to hit the head of the suspect injuring him in the process.
This made the suspect angry who in turn took the iron rod from the deceased and stabbed him in the neck which eventually led to his demise.
According to a source, the suspect is currently behind bars assisting the police with investigations whiles the mortal remains of Kenneth has been deposited at the Trauma and Specialist hospital mortuary at Winneba pending autopsy.
