Ghanaian socialite Efia Odo had a hard time defending herself when she was cornered and bashed by netizens for making what many described as an ill-informed statement on COVID.
According to Efia Odo’s analogy, it wasn’t right for the government to insist that without a COVID vaccination, citizens’ rights and freedom will be hindered.
She insisted that it was not an informed stance for the government to take since the citizens have the right to decide to go for COVID jabs on not.
Malaria has killed more people than COVID 19 (approximately 20,000 people yearly) but they’re mandating us to take a vaccine. Taking a vaccine should be a personal choice and not a mandatory decision. Guess I’m stuck in Ghana cuz Im not taking any disapproved vaccine.

Well, Efia Odo has been at the receiving end of criticisms for making the statement. Many believe she missed the point in trying to convey her independent opinion on whether the COVID jab should be made compulsory or not.
In a war of words, Efia Odo was described as ‘brainless’ who did not critically assess her thoughts before conveying them. For many, Efia Odo should stick to her social media and influencer shenanigans since the COVID topic was too heavy for her to grasp.
