Ghpage.com reported when the fracas between Stonebwoy and Zylofon Media was at its peak that Stonebwoy has been billed to perform at this year’s nominees jam without the approval of Zylofon Media, his record label.
Well, that seems to have angered Zylofon Media at long last and they have written to Charter House, the organizers of the annual Ghana Music Awards for clarifications.
Ever since the drama between Stonebwoy and Zylofon Media started, there have been several rumors that Stonebwoy will be leaving the label despite the fact that his contract has not needed.
Stonebwoy has not been bold enough to tell Ghanaians and his fans where he stands on the rumors. However, Zylofon Media has stated emphatically that Stonebwoy is still their artist and any organization or individual who deals with him be made to face the law.
From what Ghpage.com gathers now, Charter House after receiving the letter from the lawyers of Zylofon Media has taken Stonebwoy from the list of artists who are supposed to perform at this year’s VGMA Nominees jam.
This is the second time Stonebwoy’s action is a breach of contract between him and his record label. A couple of weeks ago, he demanded the removal of his record label’s signage before he performed at Hilla Liman Hall Week Celebration. And now agreeing to perform for Charter House without Zylofon approval.
