Arnold Asamoah Baidoo who is the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Zylofon Music has revealed that the record label is in financial crisis due the current situation at Menzgold.
According to him, with the problem at Menzgold which is the parent company, it is likely to affect other sister companies.
“As we all know Menzgold has been facing some challenges in recent times and it is expected that as a sister company to Zylofon Music, the record label would encounter crisis too“, he stated.
This comes as a result of recent happenings that the company has tasked its managers to resign and that some artists have decided to end their contract.
According to Arnold, some of the artists may decide to leave or end their contract due to the crisis being faced by the company.
“As we speak, Joyce Blessing is part of the record label. No artist has left but the possibility of they leaving in times like this is imminent,” he added.
At the moment some of the artists are relying on their own means to promote their projects and craft”, he noted.
Zylofon Music penetrated into the Ghana Entertainment Industry in 2017 after they signed Highlife musician, Kumi Guitar.
They later signed artists like Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Obibini, Joyce Blessing, Becca, Benedicta Gafah, Too Sweet Annan and several others.
